I have owned this bike since 2008. It is basically a flat-handlebar road bike. It has decent components and shifts easily. Brakes are very good and can stop the bike quickly. My wife learned the hard way once by grabbing the front brake too hard and going over the top. The bike survived with no issues, she broke a rib. I have a size L frame and the bike weighs 23 lbs with the OEM Continental City Rides 700C x 32. I still have the original tire on the front, but changed the rear about 7 years ago. This was an awesome tire, but it has been discontinued. The rider position is upright like a mountain bike, but the bike is light and quick. I frequently take it on the unpaved greenway trails in Charlotte and it does ok, but a wider tire with some knobby tread would be a bit better. I think a cyclocross tire about 35 mm would fit in the frame, but haven’t tried this. My one complaint is that my hands get numb on longer rides 15+ miles due to just one hand position available on the flat handles. A great commuter bike since upright ride position allows one to see over traffic and makes the rider more visible.
